Nations longest unbeaten streak--CBC Cadets

The current longest unbeaten streak in the nation is still alive. My school, CBC High School in St. Louis, Missouri is now unbeaten in their last 136 games. The state title game is the last hurdle, which will be a 4 peat if we win. I think that it would be exciting if we were able to play some of the minnesota/michigan teams...I want to get your opinions on the significance of the streak in the eyes of people up in minnesota and michigan and other hockey states.

Anyone out there played in this tournament? Is this good hockey? Good exposure to junior and college scouts? What junior teams and college scouts have been there in the past? Is it only scouts from teams out east?

Lakewood St. Edward (29-10-1) expanded its lead in all-time state hockey championships to 10 when it defeated Shaker Heights (24-8-0) in the finals, 2-0. It was also the schools second straight championship and, after stopping Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller in the semifinals 5-0, marked the second straight year the Eagles posted shutouts in both state tournament games. The contest marked the sixth straight year that two Cleveland-area schools met for the championship.
